Come in on Mondays for $1.00 off bottled beer, Tuesday is $1.00 off glasses of wine, save a buck on drafts every Wednesday, and join us Sunday for $4.00 Bloody Marys. On top of all that, the chalkboard will have more specials every day.
Beer on Tap:
The City Tap offers 10 beers on tap, and all are devoted to bringing you the best North Carolina craft beers. You can always expect to see Red Oak Lager (our house beer) and the rest of the handles vary with the seasons – lighter in the summer and darker in the winter.
We are proud to have served our customers the freshest beers from Red Oak (Whitsett, NC), Foothills Brewery (Winston-Salem, NC), Highland Brewing (Asheville, NC), Natty Greene’s (Greensboro, NC), Lonerider Brewing (Raleigh, NC), Fullsteam Brewery (Durham, NC) and more. It’s always nice to have a beer that was barreled this week and by people we know and like.
Bottled Beer:
In addition to the drafts, we carry 25 or so different bottled beers from around the country and the world. We have the standards from Bud, Miller and Pabst, plus some smaller breweries.
Wine:
Our rotating wine list consists of 3 whites, 3 reds, and usually we have something else on special.
We don’t sell wine designed to be cheap, but you shouldn’t have to break the bank to have a great glass of wine either. Our wine rep (and our customers too) helps us locate wines of great value and quality.
Liquor
Sometimes it’s not beer or wine that you want, so we have a full North Carolina ABC license. Our seasonal cocktail menu is a good place to start, but we will make all your favorites too. The house liquors are far above average and the shelves are full of all kinds of good things. Not seeing your favorite? Let us know and we will work to correct that.
